On the motherboard there is 4-pin ATX 12V power connector (used to supply additional power to the motherboard) ?? is it mandatory to connect it to the power supply??? I have power supply Enermax Digifanless 550W, but there is no such a cable (((

I'm no expert but I think that the 4-Pin ATX 12V power connector is an upgrade that provides even more power to the mainboard. It isn't required but recommended for stability, especially if you're running hardware components that need a lot of power. The additional power connector would make sense because the Z170 OC Formula is designed for overclocking. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.

The 4 pin connector is designed to provide additional power to the system in the advent that you are using triple or quad GPUs. In other words no, you do not need to connect it if the system is using a single or even dual GPU. If you experience instability with dual or more GPUs then it is worth connecting otherwise it is not necessary.
