Updated my x570 pro4 board to proper bios version.

With the new cpu i get a boot loop (no screen ram lights red) reboot after a few minutes.

cmos reset, ram stick switch\singled out, all components out did nothing.

Tried a different 5600x (i have 2) - exact same problem.
Old cpu works fine still, i am sad and dont know what else to try, i am about to send these nice CPUs back to the retailer.

Anyone have an idea?

Hey ! What was ur previous CPU ?
I have a loop reboot with full blackscreen with my new 5800x, actually i have a 2700x and its seems like the problem is because i dont update the bios with a 3000 series, their is an other option for update it with 2000 series but it doesn't work for me... i do a post to, still waiting.

My old one is a 2600. What do u mean there is a different way to update bios depending if u have 2000 or 3000 to begin with? What is the right way then?

Ok thank you very much, which cpu should be installed for that? Also what would happen if u updated bios normally from pinnacle ridge? Would the bios be faulty?
