My Z490 Aqua OLED display turns off after about 20-30 mins of powering the PC on, is this normally? is there a setting to adjust it?

Hey there matt72033

Well I had a slight issue with this at the start as well but you need to go to the support page on the ASRock site and look for the OLED control program.

The link you need depends on the OS you're using - look for the version for your iteration of Windows ie 10 or 11 :)

The links are:

https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z490%20AQUA/Specification.asp#Download" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z490%20AQUA/Specification.asp#Download

Look for the little box near the big white "DOWNLOAD" text and select either Windows 10 or Windows 11

Or alternatively for Windows 10 (64 bit) use this link https://download.asrock.com/Utility/ASRock%20OLED%20Control/ASRockOLEDControl" rel="nofollow - https://download.asrock.com/Utility/ASRock%20OLED%20Control/ASRockOLEDControl (v1.0.2).zip

Or Windows 11 use this link https://download.asrock.com/Utility/ASRock%20OLED%20Control/ASRockOLEDControl" rel="nofollow - https://download.asrock.com/Utility/ASRock%20OLED%20Control/ASRockOLEDControl (v1.0.2).zip

Actually they look like the same file so it doesn't really matter which link you use :)

It's a good idea to go through the other drivers on that page as well and make sure you're up to date :)

I hope that helps and you've probably long found the solution but I've only just seen your post when trying to find if there was a way to display a custom image on that little screen - no lunck yet btw ;)

Cheers.

Zac :D
