I just built a new computer using the X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3 Supports AMD AM4 motherboard, and I'm getting audio dropouts and video stuttering in everything I do.
In particular, I have a UAD Arrow thunderbolt audio interface, and it clicks, pops, and disconnects. when testing the UAD arrow on a Lenovo yoga laptop the problem goes away; it's not the UAD soundcard.
I also have a /second/ USB sound card, the behringer u-phoria umc202HD, and it has some issues dropping out as well.
It seems like something is causing the system to lag and stutter. I don't know what.
Here's the machine:
AMD Ryzen 3200G MSI Gaming Radeon RX 5600 XT 8 gb ddr4 ram Corsair CP-9020195-NA RM Series RM750 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular ATX PS Sabrent 512GB Rocket NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 Internal SSD High Performance Solid State Drive
The ram and the cpu came from a Lenovo Ideacenter 510a: https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/desktops-and-all-in-ones/ideacentre/500-series/510A-AMD/p/99IC95A0269
I bought the motherboard to gain thunderbolt and so that I could use my thunderbolt soundcard, add a power supply, and add a better graphics card. Unfortunately all my efforts are for nothing if the rig is unstable and stutters non-stop. I've downloaded all the latest drivers, and even updated the bios, and all the problems persist.
I really don't know where to begin troubleshooting this. Suggestions would be helpful.
