So I recently built a system using the B550-itx/ac. When I press power the fans spin up to 100% but nothing else happens then the fans slow down and my keyboard rgb kick on and the boot process seems to begin. It's as if it takes a couple seconds to begin the boot process.
No issues getting to windows just wanting to get rid of the hesitation if possible
Specs:
B550-itx/ac
5800x
Gskill 16gb 3466
Evga 2060 super
Corsair sf600 gold
Samsung 980 pro nvme
2 silicon power a55 1TB drives

I'm just trying to understand why it does it. Fast boot is already enabled.
My issue is I click power fan kicks to 100. 30 seconds later it slows down my keyboard lights up and then I see the bios menu so it's as if it doesn't begin the boot process as soon as I hit power

what is your memory actually running at .. sounds like it's going through the memory training process .. is 3466 an overclock from 3200 on your RAM? My guess is that whatever timings you have going, the motherboard/cpu don't like it. Try just XMP profile ..

What BIOS are you running? .. with the X570 Steel Legend & X570 Taichi, any BIOS revision above AGESA Combo-AM4 V2 1.0.8.0 seemed to have issues with memory timings.

In your case .. if manually setting memory to XMP doesn't help, try flashing back to BIOS 1.10 and see if that helps .. or alternatively, if you are running on an older BIOS, try flashing to a newer one.
