Hi There,
I have a ULTRA M.2 CARD which I've been using for a while with a single nVME in Slot 1.
I've just added a second nVME into Slot 2 and it's now showing either in my BIOS under nVME or in my OS (Windows 10 20H2). I've also tried Slot 3.
My motherboard is an ASRock Z170M Pro4S and the only other card I have installed is a PowerColor RX 5700 XT in the first X16 slot.
All of the switches on my M.2 card are set to off.
I've installed the utility and it doesn't seem to be seeing the card.
I see the supported motherboards stated in the manual are all X299 & X399 chipsets but I believe this is to provide VROC support, and I don't wish to run a RAID configuration so assumed this shouldn't be an issue and the nVME would still be passed through the PCIe card.
Do I need VROC to be able to use Slots 2-4 on the card?
Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Dear Seb Spiers,
Thanks for posting your query to the ASRock forum.
Regarding your question, ULTRA QUAD M.2 CARD supported mainly with X299/X399 motherboard, if the motherboard is not on the support list, it might not work properly.
For compatible motherboards, kindly refer to the link below:

With thanks, ASRock TSD

Thanks for your reply, however I was hoping for a more specific technical response.
Having done my own testing I think I can see that I need to be able to switch my PCIe x16 port to operate as 4x4 to provide x4 to each of the NVMe Slots.
My motherboard doesn't seem to have this feature so I think I'm stuck with no way forward other than to buy an additional NVMe adapter.
Ultra Quad M.2 is now on Ebay if youre interested
