Ibuilding a game pc for each of my 2 kids. The components are: Intel Core i5-10400F Boxed ASRock B460M Pro4 EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super SC Ultra Gaming Fractal Design Meshify C - Dark TG be quiet! Pure Rock Slim HyperX Fury black HX432C16FB3K2/16 MSI MPG A650GF Kingston A2000 500GB
I've been careful and installed everything according to the recommendation, but the system won't start. Not even the cpu fan is turning, the only thing that is working are the leds on the underside of the motherboard.
I tried this: I removed the motherboard from the case, only connected the motherboard cable (24 pins) and the cpu cable (8 pins) to the powersource and tried that. Again nothing. Also tried only 1 memory stick in slot A2 but again nothing.
Any recommendations?

Are you sure you are using the correct pins to power on?

This is a pic from a different board but the pin layout is always the same. Just be sure the empty pin is next to the power switch you connect.
Try only connecting the 24pin power cable (disconnect the 8pin) and see if the system powers up.
If it still won't then make sure your CPU is installed in the correct orientation (with the marks aligned).

yes, the power pin was the issue. I wanted to post the solution here, but now see your kind remarks. Thanks!
