MB: ASROCK B550 Pro4 CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X Cooler: NZXT X63 GPU: Sapphire 6800XT RAM: G. SKILL Trident Z Neo 64GB HD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB PS: 850W 80 GOLD
All RGB lights and fans working. Using HDMI cable to the GPU HDMI input. System wont boot/post. Red light on both VGA and BOOT.
Any suggestions?

do you have the P1.20 BIOS installed on this motherboard? If not, then you'll need to borrow a 3000 series CPU to flash to version P1.20 for Ryzen 5000 series compatibility.

The Bios is the original 1.0. I didnt expect to need a BIOS update as I thought buying a B550 would be compatible out of the box buy I guess I was wrong.
No I didnt have an older Ryzen or know anyone that has a one I can borrow.
Any other way to update the bios?

maybe local PC shop or purchase a 3000 series CPU, flash .. and then send/take the CPU back ..
