I have the Asrock b450m pro4 and downloaded the Realtek Audio console. And I wanted to split the audio between the front audio jack and the back. From other forum it says that if i enable "Disable front panel popup dialog it outputs to both, but how do i select what goes to what? Or if i have front panel popup dialog how do i select what sound goes to what output?

What kind of sound do you want to split? Is it within one program? I don't believe you can do that, unless there is some 3rd party program which does these things. In this situation front and back audio jack splitting is just to make both of them work at the same time, so it is more of the sharing, than splitting. Programs usually see audio device, not a jack.

I was able to do it before with a MSI B450 that also had realtek audio, but I think it had it's own GUI on the audio where we could treat each input/output as separate vs the MSFT one for Asrock.

nah, not aware of any software, I'm afraid. And I am not sure what realtek disables at that front panel. I never was good friends with Realtek stuff. It stays disabled in every single build for me ;)

Ahh I C, yeah it's the default to disable one input when one's the other one's plugged in. But it's all in software so it just needs to be split as well. For better or worse the other day i realized that my monitor disables the separate audio input when using HDMI out from the GPU, so annoying

That video card HDMI audio tends to take over as primary audio device from time to time :(
