Hey guys, I just updated my mobo Asrock B550 bios to the latest version 1.80. Running with Ryzen 5 3600 / kingston hyperx 3200 2x8gb. At first it went smooth like normally booting to windows with no problem.
After couple weeks it wouldnt boot in windows nor enter bios, with 5 beebs error, no signal monitor too.
I've tried to reset bios, unplug battery, pin jumper reset, everything elses with no help at all, it still wont post with blank screen. Cannot enter bios.
Try swapping rams, cpu and psu, but still no luck. Mobo wont post anymore and beeps, no matter what i do.
I think the new bios agesa wont let me boot with ryzen 3600. Or its just bricked bios. I have no other cpu to try.

Any suggestions will so much appriciated. Thanks guys ??

5 beeps is usually a GPU not detected error. Try your GPU in another slot and see
if that gets you a POST screen. If that does not change anything, see if you can
try another GPU.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes i tried swapping GPU with a different one, still no post no beeb. Debug code spinning with no ends.

Could it be bad agesa with ryzen 3600 ?

Bad agesa does not brick BIOSes over time. If it was bad agesa, you wouldn't be able to boot straight after an update, not after some time of successful use of computer

I have no clue now. Tried to turn it on without rams, sticked a different ram, and still no beeb.

I tried with no GPU installed and still no beeb.

Swapped psu and nothing changes.

Board turns on but debug code spinning with no post at all.

Is it no beep or 5 beeps?

Like I said, try the GPU in the other PCIe slot, see if it behaves any different.
It could be that the CPU has died, this is sadly not as uncommon as it once was.

First time happened with 5 beebs with no post.
After that, ever since then it wont boot, no post, no beebs ever.
Board just turn on with debug codes spinning.

Tried my cpu 3600 on different board (b320) booting to bios without issues.

Only if i put my 3600 on the board, it just wont post. Already swapped with different rams and gpu still no post, no beeb at all.

Like there is something wrong with 3600 memory controller to the rams.

Could it be the board requires Ryzen 5000 series to boot ? This new agesa patched bios is kind of picky

I think I found the culprit, it is PCIE gen3 and PCIE gen4 problem.

My vga still gen3, but the bios automatically set to auto pcie after reset, that causes no signal, no post ..

High probably the problem
