This was from Reddit:

Motherboard          Version     Build date     Release date
X470 Taichi            4.62     02/05/2021      03/15/2021
X470 Taichi Ultimate   4.62     02/05/2021      03/15/2021

(Update to AMD AGESA ComboAM4v2 1.2.0.0)

I'm going to guess these are in beta it seems and will be released this month, hopefully. This would also include resizable bar support in the bios as well.

Oh damn I see that now, no 4.62 but 4.70 that's awesome.

Now all I need is to find a 5900x at retail price LOL. The most I'll pay is $50 over MSRP.

Just went to reddit, someone flashed their board with 4.70 and it does have resizable bar support, yay :D Shouldn't ASRock include that with bios description, so everyone would know. That would make sense lol.

I am confused, I have a bios I get on 30 april in version 4.70 but today, the most recent bios on asrock.com is 4.60...

Which one should I use on my X470 Taichi Ultimate to upgrade from 2600 to 5900X?

Hi, so you have both bios right now? 4.70 and 4.60? 4.70 adds resizable bar support plus what I read makes Ryzen 5000 cpus more stable I would flash it to 4.70. I have the x470 Taichi not ultimate and I have 4.70, and yes I noticed that AsRock pulled bios 4.70 for some reason. My bios: https://ibb.co/3CwKm2f" rel="nofollow - https://ibb.co/3CwKm2f
I have no issues at all with it. Ram is good, 32GB in all 4 slots 8x4 running at 3200mhz CL 14.

This happens sometimes, ASRock tends to be cautious with BIOS releases and will
often pull down an update if there are users reporting issues with it. Most often
there is nothing wrong with the update but to protect their customers they don't
take chances. Typically when a BIOS version gets taken down (if there is good reason)
it is because of incompatibility with a particular combination of hardware. With
4.70 I suspect it had to do with some users experiencing issues with the
Resizable Bar feature, for most users it seems it worked fine.

Ah, so that's probably the reason with 4.70 resizable bar issues, and the reason I haven't had any issue is because I did not enable it lol so I can't judge it yet. Not many games support it yet, and if those games you do not play are on Nvidia's list, there is no reason as of yet to enable it.
