Hello,

i have an ASrock B450M Pro4 motherboard and i flashed my bios to version 5.00 and i got a message telling me that it successfully updated my bios, but after, it was long to reboot, i pressed the power button to shutdown the pc, and now i have no video.

i have a 16gb ram module brand tanbassh but i'm not sur if it's ok with this motherboard because i got 2+4 beeps sometimes (not every time i boot up)

i saw on the mobo that there was a bios ph1 header, can i buy a replacement bios to bypass my corrupted ? if so where can i order it

Try shut down, remove power cord, clear bios settings, remove battery, let stand over night. In the morning press the power button several times clear settings one more time, replace battery, re-connect power cord and attempt to start. If no start contact Asrock via support to see if there is any re-course. Otherwise get a new board.

Look in your manual and find the location on the board for "Clear c-mos jumper" Touch the 2 pins together with a small metal object such as a screwdriver.

i also have a question about where to place my m.2 ssd, at first i placed it up, near the pci-express slots but after reading the manual, i realized i in fact had to preferably place it down right of the motherboard near the sata ports is that correct ?

i thought that the "ultra m.2" sticker meaned that it was faster, that's why i placed it there

I know since long time how to clear cmos, but i've always thought it needed power but you told me to press several times power button, so that should discharge the capacitors, so if i clear cmos after will that might work ?
