Hi to all.
Anybody have got experience with this setup - Z97 OCF and 4980HQ?
Firstly, booting of rig - terrible. Can boot from 3rd attempt, but also can booting from 100 attempts. Literraly. Absolutely random. Bios version latest - 2.0. Maybe try others version of microcode, special for Crystal well ?
Two.
4980HQ have got only x46.
CPU strap is NOT. Need oldest version of bios? Or anything else? Because without this option maximum clock on over clocking - 4600MHz. Highest value I see - over 5000 on 3dmark fire strike and cpu-z. And elsewhere uses a cpu strap. Which I can?™t finding in my bios.
I find only next advice
??On the OC Tweaker screen you have to type in 125 MHz into the BCLK Frequency then select a 1.25 BCLK/PCIe ratio then on the DRAM Tweaker screen make sure the RAM speed doesn't exceed by too much what the RAM is spec'd for by selecting an appropriate DRAM Frequency on the DRAM tweaker page. I'd also suggest setting the DRAM Reference Clock to 133MHz. I'd also make sure your CPU cache speed doesn't go much above 3.3 GHz (also on the OC Tweaker screen)??
But this not work of my case.
I appreciate any help.
