Checking to see if my Z390 Pro4 MB can run Win11 and it says NO.

I enabled Secure Boot but System Information says UNSUPPORTED.

UEFI is enabled but SI says LEGACY.

I don't know what other settings to check....help please.

Thanks.

Hi egoshman,

Thank you for your post.

Although Windows 11 has not yet been officially released.
Microsoft has revealed that the system requires to have a minimum of Intel 8th Gen processor / AMD Zen+ processor to support Windows 11.
Intel: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors" rel="nofollow - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors
AMD: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors" rel="nofollow - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors

In addition, to use Windows 11, the TPM function may be required.
The fTPM function is available for all of the Intel 8th Gen processors / AMD Zen+ processors supported platforms.
Please make sure to enable the fTPM function via the BIOS. You can refer to our FAQ (number 500) to enable it.

Official announcements for Win11 are to be released after confirmation from Microsoft/Intel/AMD.

In short, your Z390 Pro4 does support Windows11.
Please make sure to enable the fTPM(Intel PTT) under BIOS to make the system ready for Win11 :)

All the best
