Can anyone provide resolution/shed light on subject motherboard rebooting when coming out of sleep - each and every time?

- BIOS: v3.50 (2021/4/26)
- Ryzen 3900X
- 64GB G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 64GB (4 x 16GB)DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800)
- EVGA Nvidia 1080 TI x 2 (SLI)
- 2TB WDC Black M.2 4x4 SN850 with heatsink
- 1350 Watt PC Power & Cooling Turbo Master Series, 80 Plus Gold

It's problematic with the only option at this point is return/RMA the board for different model. Thanks in advance.

Usually issues with sleep and hibernate are with Windows. Google will bring up many threads about this.

Noteworthy is that hibernate is disabled (powercfg /h off). When Windows 10 is manually put to sleep using windows it wakes normally - no reboot. When the system is allowed to timeout into sleep per the specified power configuration "AMD Ryzen Balanced..." is when the wakeup reboots the computer.

Mmmm... I should try changing the power profile to a windows default configuration.

What version of Windows are you using?

For the 1080 in SLI, are you using a Studio driver?

Running Windows 10 (21H1) with all updates.

No, using the latest Nvidia GAMING (June 2021) driver (SLI enabled). Additionally the x570 Chipset drivers from AMD are installed. The issue existed before installing the AMD chipset drivers, and thought installing them might resolve the issue - no such luck.

Are you using the RAM in XMP profile? If so, have you tried some testing with the RAM using motherboard defaults, not the XMP?

Is it possible to not use SLI for a period of time for testing? It's possible SLI doesn't play well with that BIOS.

Yes, using XMP profile as picked up by the BIOS for the following RAM running at 3600 Mhz:

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory Model F4-3600C16Q-64GTZNC

Good idea, and will also use non XMP profile if the problem persists. One thing we did do is select the default Windows 10 'Balanced...' power profile. Keeping our fingers and toes crossed. Will advise on results - want to be certain of each action and reaction to a given change.

I have the X570 Creator with latest B IOS (as of June this year). I had to update the BIOS in preparation for the Ryzen 5950X upgrade. As soon as I went to the newer BIOS, the XMP profile broke and all manner of odd crashes and lockups happened. There are a number of threads on the Ascrock AMD BIOS forum that have cases where the XMP quit working. So I can say with certainty that the XMP mechanism on that model motherboard is not working properly.

If the BIOS is garbage/quality control being short-changed, why don't they resolve the issue? Maybe they cannot program a BIOS fix for the hardware - I don't know. One thing for sure, any motherboard commanding a $500 dollar price tag should be pristine (without issues).

Come on ASROCK help us out with the issue please.

Unfortuneably we've exhausted all attempts at making this high dollar motherboard function without arbrtrary REBOOT(s). They became prevelant throughout the daily use of the the motherboard/system right out of the box.

The motherboard has been removed and returned to the seller for replacement of a different manufacturer/model.
