hello ppl,

I wanted to install linux on my maschine (b560 pro4) but it errors with VMX disabled by BIOS and SGX disabled by BIOS. So i found that VMX is intel Virtualization Technology which have an option in the bios but i don?™t find SGX, so i googled a bit and found that it should be under CPU Configuration same as VMX but it isn?™t. I am already out of ideas.

Hi Abdi,

Thank you for your post.

Intel stops to support SGX since the 500 series.

So it is normal that no option under BIOS and SGX will always disable on this motherboard.

All the best

tyvm for the reply, something else i wanna know, is it possible to get an fully unlocked bios cus there are options missing, like Power Down Mode, Selfrefresh, which is Powersaving for RAM, this board is advertised with 10th gen cpus the memory can go up to 4600 mhz which makes ram overclocking very attractive.
