Hi guys,

I just bought Asrock deskmini x300 from Amazon,

Not sure whats the version of the bios is, but im assuming its 1.4

Im planing to use this setup with Ryzen 5 5600G.

So ive installed:

\- Ryzen Athlon 200GE (YD200GC6FBBOX) - just to update the bios to current version.

\- Crucial RAM CT2K16G4SFRA32A 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CL22 - listed as ok ([ https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx282UJCKET5BPI/%5d" rel="nofollow - https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx282UJCKET5BPI/] ( https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx282UJCKET5BPI/" rel="nofollow - https://www.amazon.com/ask/questions/Tx282UJCKET5BPI/ ))

When im trying to boot - the deskmini fan spins but nothing else happens - screen stays black, I tried to connect ssd but no changes.

Is there something im missing? Ryzen Athlon 200GE is listed as compatible on Asrock website but I haven't found the product number YD200GC6FBBOX so im slowly starting to think that this may be the case here.

Ive also tried to boot with Ryzen 5 5600G but im getting the same result.

Hopefully, you got things working by now...

The stock BIOS version on your board might be stamped on the BIOS chip itself with something like "P1.40", etc.

YD200GC6FBBOX is the retail package with AMD stock cooler included. That was apparently in ASRock compatibility test pool. YD200GC6M2OFB is the standalone OEM/Tray version that you may have. The CPUs are identical in every way other than markings.

If your 200GE isn't defective it should work. You might shut down, check that your CPU and memory are properly seated again, short the Clear CMOS Jumper to revert to defaults, and boot trying just one stick of DDR4 at a time in case the memory timings were screwy.

Good luck.
