As I'm prepping to do my build (h570 steel legend), I'm hoping to get suggestions. I primarily am gearing for Cubase pro recording.

Should my pci-e 4 nvme drive be for recording or boot?

Also, can any drive be the boot drive?

Well is speed read & Write needed for recordings?

Yes I think you can use any drive to be the boot drive.

Neph, My dilemma is that I'm not sure higher bandwidth will give a big enough boost for recordings. 3x4 nvme is fast enough to get insanely good results. So maybe my question is better geared in the steinberg forums.

thank you for the info.
