Hey I can imagine this gets asked so many time but I genuinely have done been searching online all of yesterday to try to fix this and I?™m coming to the conclusion that it?™s not compatible. It will not show up in BIOS or in windows installation when no other SSD are connected. It also doesn?™t appear in my current windows install even with slot 0, 1 and A0 of sata not connected.
Motherboard: Z170 K6 gaming SSD: WD_BLACK SN750 SE 1TB NVMe SSD
I have updated bios and tried to turn off CMS. Tonight I will be testing it in a friends PC as he has the same SSD but different motherboard.
I hope there?™s just something easy that I have missed or a reason to why it doesn?™t work as I?™m a bit stuck so any help is appreciated!

how many M.2 slots does your board have?? If it has 3 like mine I can only use the top slot with a 11th series CPU.. so I need to use 2nd and 3rd M.2 Slots..

EDIT: I just checked the title it is an M.2. I would try it in another PC it could be defective, if it is still under warranty contact the manufacturer..

well I checked the mobo and it stated this:
"- 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket, supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280/22110 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s)**"
is your M,2 one of those key types? If it is check and see if there is a BIOS update for M.2 compatibility?
