I would like to request an updated BIOS for adding Kernel DMA Protection support for Windows 10 (and now 11).

Relevant Microsoft documents https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/device-experiences/oem-kernel-dma-protection" rel="nofollow - here .

Seems to require some missing ACPI table flags to be enabled and/or optin in firmware.

For reference,

Motherboard: Fatal1ty X299 Gaming K6

CPU: Intel i9 10900X

Windows 11 Pro

Thanks.

Hi Gamer313,

Thank you for your post.

Intel starts to support Kernal DMA protection since Intel 500 series platform.

X299 platform doesn't support this function.

All the best
