Hi! I've just switched to a new motherboard from an old Dell and tried to boot my old HDD but it won't even show up on the list of bootable drives. What should I do?
Should I get a new HDD? I was planning on switching to SSD.
Or should I format my old HDD?

Hi Ponylingus,

Thank you for your email.

According to your description, the problem may be related to your OS mode.

If you have a discrete GPU, you can try to enable CSM.

The option is under BIOS\Boot\CSM.

If you don't have a discrete GPU, then we recommend backing up your DATA and reinstalling the OS.

All the best
ASRock TSD
