If you are meaning run at x16 for your GPU then so long as you are using the top PCIe x16 slot you will be running in x16 mode. Windows will lower the bandwidth when power saving so if you check (using something like GPUz) when they GPU is idle it will show x8 or even x1 depending on drivers/settings. Simply apply a load to the GPU and the link speed will increase to x16. The reason there is no setting to force x16 is because it's all handled by drivers these days and a forced setting can cause instability/conflicts. -------------
