Recently upgraded the CPU in this mobo, from Ryzen 3 2200G to Ryzen 5 3600. Flashed the bios to version 6.2 prior to upgrade, and now find that the boot times are very very slow. It can occasionally boot normally, but most times can take up to an hour of sitting watching the Windows boot screen with the little round thingy going on and on and on.......
Have updated all drivers and reset bios to defaults, but little or no change.
Once in Windows, the PC is fast and does not crash even during stress testing.
At my wits end, any ideas appreciated.
Thanks in advance

hi, you may want to clear up your system recovery points, delete all of them and create new one, then reboot and see if there is any noticeable difference

I might know the cause of this problem, but first try turning your computer completely off and power it on. Next, try restarting your computer.
If your computer only boots slow after restarting your system, then here's your solution.
You need to DISABLE Windows 10 fast startup because the feature is glitched and enabled by default.

**Note** My computer would occasionally take long to boot before trying this solution, but an hour is very extreme.
