So I just bought a new motherboard. An ASRock Z590 Steel Legend ATX as an upgrade from my old msi z390. However, I'm unsure if my PSU is supported. It is a Thermal take RGB smart pro 750w 80+ bronze. Will the connectors be fine or do I need a new PSU or can I use my PSU extension cables as an alternative if it's needed?

That PSU should work fine. I am not sure what your concern is but I am going to guess that it has to do with the 2 8pin CPU power connectors on the board?
If so, check page 26 of your user manual (the online one). The second 8 pin power header (ATX12V2) is optional. Make sure you connect your 8pin power cable to ATX12V1 and you should be good to go.

I was aware of that but I was just worried when I saw "high density connector" on the motherboards spec overview. Thank you very much. Gonna be happy with this motherboard when it gets here

When you receive the board, first place it on top of the cardboard box, insert the CPU, and mount the CPU cooler, please be aware that you should never overtighten the screws, when the cooler is flast on the CPU surface, and cannot move around, the pressure is enough. Some coolers go way above the maximum pressure that Intel specified, causing the CPU and socket to bend. insert one memory module, Monitor Keybaord and mouse, abnd the PSu, and power on the system, and give it some time for the first boot. If that works, add the other memory module, and test again. Once you find, everything is working as it should, it's time to fit it in the chassis. It's always good to know that a board works, before you put it in a chassis
