I am not sure what you are asking here.

Will it be a good upgrade?
Definitely.

Can you use the i7 4770k in the same motherboard you have the Athlon x4 769k in?
No, you will need a socket 1150 motherboard for the i7 4770k.

About the fastest CPU you could use on that board is the Athlon x4 880k but it wouldn't be much of an upgrade over your Athlon x4 760k, only 200mhz faster overall and no real architectural or feature improvements.

What are you wanting to upgrade for? The Athlon x4 760k should be up to the task of gaming and office work. I would only see it being a bit slow when it comes to render intensive/batch processing tasks.

For an i7 4790k you will want a Z97 based socket 1150 board to take full advantage of it.

Take a look at the Z97 boards from ASRock http://asrock.com/mb/index.us.asp?s=1150" rel="nofollow - here .
