Quick System Specs
AsRock X370 Taichi
Ryzen 5 1600
16g Ram

I am replacing a failed SSD with a pair of M2 drives thanks to a nice sale price. I have installed the pair of WD 500gb Black SN750 M2 drives. The corrective re-install of Windows 10 to move it over to one of the drives went smooth. When I open the BIOS it shows both drives and in the device manager menu it shows both drives. However when I open up my file menus and go to This PC as a quick way to open up the drives so I can begin moving some files from my drive that is dying to my new drives and sort it out only the drive with my operating system installed shows up.

Looking for any suggestions.

M2_1 is directly connected to the CPU
M2_2 is connected to the chipset, and when it is used, PCIE5 slot is disabled
But M.2 comes in 3 different controller formats
1. AHCI (which is an old outdated format)
2. SATA which has the same speed as a 2.5 inch SATA SSD, 550Mb)
3. PCIE (NVME) which runs at higher speed

M2_1 can support SATA and NVME)
M2_2 can only support NVME M.2
Check the firmware of the M.2, and check if both individually run at M2_1, which means, the M.2 are okay.
Often this is related to the M.2 firmware

Kind Regards
