It is the same kit, the number changes when you use the compatibility applet. Try it for yourself to be sure if you like, http://uk.crucial.com/ProductDisplay?urlRequestType=Base&catalogId=10153&categoryId=&productId=350502&urlLangId=-1&langId=-1&top_category=&parent_category_rn=&storeId=10153" rel="nofollow - here is the RAM you listed, just select: ASRock -> ASRock Motherboards -> Z170M Extreme4 Once it loads the compatibility rating the number changes from BLS2C8G4D240FSA to CT7970153. I think it is just how the site works. -------------
