I have a Asrock 990FX MB I want to understand about these numbers on the Memory. DDR3 = 2450 (oc) / 2100 (oc) / 1600/1333/1066 I know that the OC is for Over clock, But can I use the 2450/2100 and not overclock? Or do they have to be over clocked? What would you suggest? Any RAM frequency over the native frequency of the memory controller is technically termed an overclock. In the case of FX CPUs that native frequency is 1600mhz, setting your RAM to a higher speed is overclocking beyond the memory controller's native speed. The CPU does not need to be overclocked to achieve this however. -------------
