hi, i posted this in the wrong area earlier and i also have an update. So,  i am putting together a new system and stumbled upon this problem: while loading a fresh install of  http://www.amazon.com/dp/B013KEZ598" rel="nofollow - windows XP 32 bit  (not my final OS choice...just checking before opening the  http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=win10" rel="nofollow - Win10 disc) through a  http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&index=aps&keywords=portable%2Bdvd%2Bplayer&linkCode=ur2" rel="nofollow - portable DVD player  everything looks good, windows starts reading from the disk but approximately 3 minute in the process i get a blue screen saying the following. click on link

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3t-K3IVIol_bDhvMkdkMEFRelU/view?usp=sharing

I tried two different hard drives and they both gave the same error....the machine is new and never saw an OS so there is no virus....

Is Win XP too old for this mobo? i have the 2.0 bios version

if anyone has seen this please let me know what it is
thank you
Andrea

Well, i went ahead and installed Win10 (full install not the update) and all went perfect so at this point doesn't matter if win XP works. I guess this bios version 2.0  is too new for WinXP?
