Only Intel's Z series chipsets support XMP. Technically XMP is overclocking so they only allow it on their Z series chipsets. I am not a fan of this approach but it is what it is.

ASRock has often enabled things like this in the BIOS on boards that technically shouldn't support it. Sometimes intel gets angry and they must then remove the feature. There was another thread with a similar question to yours where ASRock Tech Support replied, they said exactly what I told you.
This is why I don't recommend updating when everything is working as it should. Sometimes you lose features, especially with intel who are very picky about what they allow on different chipset boards. It was the same when intel forced ASRock to remove base clock overclocking on their B85 Anniversary boards (as well as others).
Intel controls what is and is not allowed with their chipsets, manufacturers will often try and sneak something past them (like XMP) to provide a better product for their users but intel often catches on and makes them remove it. It's one of the things I really dislike about intel. No manufacturer will risk jeopardizing contracts with AMD or Intel, they will go out of business. I would contact ASRock Tech Support and inquire about flashing back to an older version that still supports it. There is nothing we can do to help you on the forums I am afraid. It seems intel has laid down the law again.

Here is the thread ASRock Tech Support replied to: https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=24578&PID=100168&title=how-to-enable-xmp#100168" rel="nofollow - https://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=24578&PID=100168&title=how-to-enable-xmp#100168
The board in question is a B460 but the restriction applies to all B, H and Q chipsets.
