Subject: Disable Sata and NVMe ports£

Hello,
I got a Steel Legend B550 along with a Ryzen 5700G.

I need to setup various OS at various points and most of the setup is automatic. I use a removable HDD for this purpose. However, in order to protect my data on the machine, I need to disable the 2 installed NVMes as well as the 2 SATA drives I have on this board.

I didn't notice any relevant option, so I wander if it is actually possible to disable NVMes and SATA ports.

Any help would be appreciated.

Dear ptselios,

You cannot switch off SATA or M.2 in BIOS, UEFI will alwys look for a boot device, and usually that is Windows bootmanager.
Other option is, to use f11 to get into the bootmenu, and select the proper device.
Or use a mulitboot environbment, and this info can be found on internet

Kind Regards
