Hi,
I recently purchased an AsRock Rack EPC612D4U-8R motherboard. I'm attempting to use an Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 CPU and Samsung M393A4K40BB1-CRC0Q memory.
When the system boots it shows an error 53 on the motherboard, which I believe is a memory error.
The BIOS chip on the motherboard has a sticker that has "P1.00" written it. Does that indicate it is running BIOS version 1.00?
I believe BIOS version 2.00 or higher is required to support v4 CPUs. I would have thought (hoped) that the motherboard would have come with a newer BIOS installed, being that the version 2.00 BIOS came out in 2016?
Cheers, Deeda
