Hi,
I have been running the following setup for multiple years:
- i3 8100
- Asrock z370m itx/ac
- Corsair Vengeance PC21300 2666 8gb
- PSU Corsair Hx620
- stock cooler

I recently wanted to upgrade and bought an i7 8700k and added water cooling (Corsair H60).

My problem: with the new i7 8700k CPU, Windows 11 freezes in 3 seconds when running OCCT or Prime95.

I also was able to do the same with WinPE Strelec doing AIDA Extreme 64 and accessing HWInfo while AIDA is running. Same freezing.

Please help! Could it be that the CPU is dead?
