Asrock X99 WS: After updating the UEFI from 1.70 to latest version 3.10 Windows 8.1 crashed, started and crashed, and so on No way to restart the system Windows itself could not repair, nor from disk or Setup-DVD Meanwhile i implemented the system complete new, 10 hours work My own cost for this bug: ~ 500 EUR I think that ASROCK Boards ar for Gamers not for productive Workers

Ten hours to "... implemented the system...", which I'm guessing means installing Windows 8.1 again, and all your software?
If that is right, anyone would tell you that backup copies of your system are essential for any computer used in a working environment.
What UEFI update method did you use?
If a UEFI update can cause an OS installation to be ruined, that is hard to believe, or has a very simple reason for it that is being overlooked.
