I have just completed build up of my new PC.
Motherboard does not show the SSD in BIOS and I cannot use it as system disk.
However, Windows 11 This PC recognizes it. So does the Disk Management.
The SSD is initiated, given a drive letter and configured as MBR.
My motherboard is updated to 4.12 standard.
Am I missing something here?

Hi wolfmandim,

Thank you for your post.

We pick the SAMSUNG 990 Pro and Z790 Taichi for testing.
M.2_1 and M.2_2 can detect the SSD without a problem.

Here we have some suggestions for you to try.
1. Clear CMOS by referring to the user manual page. 27.
User manual: https://download.asrock.com/Manual/Z790%20Taichi.pdf" rel="nofollow - https://download.asrock.com/Manual/Z790%20Taichi.pdf
2. Change 990 Pro from MBR to GPT mode.
3. Only install CPU, PSU, Cooler, RAM, 990 Pro, and Graphics card to check if the SSD shows up in BIOS.
4. Cross-testing with another SSD.

If you still have the problem, we recommend contacting us via the support form.

Tried your suggestions with the exception of #4 (I don't have another SSD available at the moment). It appears that when I install Windows 11 on the Samsung 990 Pro it leads me to a blue Recovery screen. So, I have no option but to go back to my original setup.
Please note BIOS shows the Samsung 990 in Storage Configuration but it does not appear in Boot options.
Any other suggestions?
