The G.SKILL Trident Z5 6400 64GB (2x32GB) is on the Memory QVL (Raptor Lake), yet the specified bios is blank. Does this mean it will be supported in a future bios? Or is it supported now for any bios version? I ask because my memory modules are not stable at 6400 MT/s. I'd like to know if it will work in the future, or perhaps I just lost the silicon lottery.

I own a 13900K and the G.SKILL Trident Z5 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6400 F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RS, and it is not stable when running on the XMP settings. Specifically, I get hardware errors within 15 minutes of running Aida64. It is stable when manually downclocked to DDR 6200 using all the XMP timings for 6400. It is also stable at DDR 6000 using tighter timings I extracted from the ram (30, 37, 37,96, 133). I also tested the G.SKILL Trident Z5 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR5 6000 F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5RK, and the XMP profile worked fine with those modules.

I understand that running quad channel 64GB at over 6000 MT/s is very difficult, and I was surprised it was even on your QVL. I purchased the DDR5 6000 modules in early December. Soon after, I noticed the 6400 modules were available for the same price. So I returned the slower module and purchased the faster module. I am still satisfied because 6200 is better then 6000. Even at 6000 my modules are better because I can use tighter timing.

I think there is an issue due to the fact that you have 2x32Gb as they are dual rank.
I have same board, normal Z790 Taichi and 2x16Gb GSkill Trident Z5 RGB 6600Mhz.
No issue XMP and no issue having +600 at same xmp settings so ow keep them at 7200 Mhz.

I had an issue with different mobo and 4 stick of ram, couldn't made them run 6400Mhz XMP, only 6000 Mhz.

Thank you very much. I suspected this was the case. I wonder why these modules are listed on the QVL without a footnote that they are validated only to 6000 Mt/s
