Hello. I have a really early version of this board, so I can't update it through the normal ways inside the BIOS, but I contacted Asrock and got a neat guide on how to do it and even the file. Then of course I have done something wrong cause I can't get it to work.

here is the steps I have done and where it goes wrong:
1: formated usb stick to fat32 and put the files I was sent on it.
2: boot into efi shell.
3:type"fs0:
4: type "cd AB350_Pro4"   This is where it goes wrong. No such file or directory.
5. tried fs 1 through 8 (all the ones I have) with same result. Nothing found.
6: tried different USB ports. USB 2 and 3.

Some more info that might be relevant:
usb stick shows up in the boot list and has UEFI prefix.

I'm not an IT guy so I'm just doing my best following instructions, but I must have got it wrong at some point.

Maybe someone here has any ideas?

One more small thing. I tried renaming the folder to something very simple just in case there was something about my spelling or something.

You'll want to use "map" command in the EFI shell to see the actual device names, as they don't necessarily have to be fs<num>. They can be blk<num> or something weird.

map<ENTER>

It should list all the device names and descriptions, and hopefully, your USB drive will be one of them, so you can switch to it.

Solved it. Solution was to rename the folder just to save time typing. Then I needed to go one level deeper to find the file. the way it was packaged was folder called ab350pro4 then inside that was a folder with the same name which had all the files.

Hope that was clear if someone googling comes accros this.
