Yes, I get the same message when I tried installing it on my X99 Extreme6/3.1 board, using the Windows 10 version. Why? My guess is this new program is only for Broadwell-E processors. By the way, do you know what this program is supposed to do?  From what little I could discover about it, and given what the new Broadwell Xeon processor specs are, Broadwell-E may be a bit different than what we have seen in the past with Intel HEDT processors. ------------- http://valid.x86.fr/48rujh" rel="nofollow">

I don't know also but googling it with quotes points me to Asrock website but without quotes it gives me Intel turbo boost

I could not find any information about this from Intel either. But I may have figured it out. Still this is only my guess, I have no inside information about this. The Broadwell mainstream processors (i5-5500, i5-5600, and i5-5700) of the 'C' type have a feature called Configurable TDP-down Frequency. That feature allows the processor's base clock to be reduced from its standard, stock value, to a lower one. For example, the i7-5775C processor has a standard base clock of 3.3GHz. Its Configurable TDP-down Frequency is 2.2GHz. That clock speed is independent of the other Intel CPU power saving options. My guess is that the Broadwell-E HEDT processors, or perhaps a few of them, will have a similar feature. It also seems there will be two Configurable TDP-down frequencies for the Broadwell-E HEDT processors. It might also be possible that the Broadwell-E HEDT processor's stock base clock can be increased, to say the maximum Turbo frequency for that processor. That's an extended guess. Regardless, the ASRock Intel Turbo Boost Max program would allow us to configure the Configurable TDP-down (or TDP-up and down?) frequency on Broadwell-E HEDT processors. That's my guess about this program, and the potential hint it gave us about Broadwell-E HEDT processors. This would also explain why this program was... uhm, not explained. NDA. We can't get in trouble for speculating sans facts so I see no reason not to  I am curious about this myself. Could it be possible intel is actually allowing overclocking of the turbo frequency? I have a sneaking suspicion that this will be restricted to the i7 CPUs..... -------------
