Hello everyone, I bought a 4TB SSD yesterday and wanted to install it. However, every time I start my system, I receive error 06 regardless of which port I use or even when using a PCIe extender. I even replaced the SSD because I thought it might be dead on arrival (DOA), but I still encounter the error. However, every time I start my system, I encounter error 06, and my system freezes at the ASRock logo. This freezing issue occurs specifically when the error 06 occurs, and it doesn't happen with other SSDs. Here are my system specifications: Windows 10 ASRock Taichi X570 motherboard AMD Ryzen 3950X processor RTX 2080 Ti graphics card Sound Blaster Z SE sound card Storage devices: 3x CT1000P1SSD8 (1TB each) 2x WDC S500G2B0A-00SM50 (500GB each) 1x Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB 1x WDC WD4004FZWX-00GBGB0 (4TB HDD) I am currently trying to install a CT4000P3SSD8 using a PCIe extender. |

Yes i set it up to 45Bit (32TB) but still get code 06. I forgot zo mention: Im using this extender: https://www.amazon.de/DIGITUS-IO-Karte-Schnittstellenkarte-2-Port-DS-33170/dp/B08BPJ5T2V" rel="nofollow - https://www.amazon.de/DIGITUS-IO-Karte-Schnittstellenkarte-2-Port-DS-33170/dp/B08BPJ5T2V I have currently BIOS version P2.70 I tried to put it in pcie3 and pcie5 and also took out other SSD in slot M2_3 aswel M2_2 and tryed bith slots unused through mentioned pcie aswell tried directly the mentioned m2 slots which didnt work. |
