Hi all

New in the AsRock community.

After putting together my new PC and set (almost) everything up, I noticed in CPU-Z that the BCLK and of course the CPU clocks where not those intended. Tried setting them manually in BIOS but still nothing. I even disabled the Intel goodies such as Intel Turbo boost in case one of them was causing it but no luck.

As shown in the pics below my CPU is the i7 13700KF on a Steel Series Z790. Hve the last bios on, v8.05

So I'm asking those more experienced than me, what should I do/change in order to bring them to what they should be.

Thanks in advance.

You mean the BUS speed not reading 100? This is normal behavior, it will tend to
fluctuate about 1% or so of the total BUS clock value. The difference it makes in
overall frequency won't impact performance in any meaningful way. About the only
time it would hold any value is if you are a competitive overclocker, in which case
you would be using a more overclocking centric board anyway.

Thank you very much for responding me.

Ah ok, thought that might be something in the bios that I had to check or uncher in order to get the round numbers of BCLK and the clocks. Yea that 0,2 BCLK is not that was ganna make any wonders. Thanks again
