Use to be able to start my computer by pressing ctrl+F1, now after changing out my powersupply for a new one that function ctrl+F1 doesn't work no more. I did nothing other then change the powersupply out.

By "... start my computer...", do you mean a cold boot after a Windows Shutdown, or after removing power from the PC?

If that is correct, I was not aware that a specific keyboard key sequence like Ctrl+F1 could be used to start a mother board. Waking a PC from Sleep or Hibernate is different, and pressing any single key on a keyboard can accomplish that.

Questions:

What mother board are you using?

What keyboard are you using? Is the Ctrl+F1 key input to start the PC a feature of the keyboard?

What are the previous and new power supply models?

This cold boot start the PC with keystrokes on the keyboard is fascinating, but I get the feeling I am missing some vital information about this.

I could speculate on and on, but that is a waste of time without knowing the answers to my questions. Confused

I'm running a asrock 990fx, amd fx6350, 16GB memory, Gigaabyte G1 GTX 980.

The keyboard is a cheap Belkin PS/2

I was using a coolmax 1200w powersupply and it was getting old, so I was given a new Apevia 650w powersupply.

Just changed them out and did not touch nothing else.

Yes there is and option in Bios to set key strokes to cold start your PC. I have always used Ctrl+F1.
