Hello,
  I plan to update my BIOS on the title's mobo and it'll be the first time I update a BIOS in probably over a decade. I just wanted to make sure I'm updating it properly, based on the BIOS versions here: https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming%20K4/index.asp#BIOS" rel="nofollow - https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming%20K4/index.asp#BIOS
  So, am I able to go from 3.20 straight to 7.00 in order to get to 7.40, right?  Or do I need to go from 3.20 -> 3.40 -> 5.40 -> 5.80 -> 7.00 -> 7.40?
  If I'm doing this just to add a Ryzen 5 3600, is it safe/okay to stop at the minimal version to run the 3600? If so, how can I find what BIOS version that is?
  Thanks for any input and advice.

or from 3.20 -> 5.40 -> 7.00 -> 7.40
  because everything is in the group of 3.40 to 5.40 ** If the current BIOS version is older than P3.40, please update BIOS to P3.40(Bridge BIOS) before updating this version.
  and from 5.50 -> 6.40 is of the same group *** If the current BIOS version is older than P5.40, please update BIOS to P5.40(PinnaclePI-AM4_1.0.0.6) before updating this version.
  7.00 is a must
  finally 7.40
