Subject: PCH aRGB Not Working - B650E Steel Legend Wifi

The RGB under the PCH cover has stopped working completely. It is like the component is no longer recognized, and cannot be changed. I have flashed BIOs and have done system rollbacks but to no success.
The IO RGB is operating as it should, no issues. The PCH RGB is completely unresponsive and is stuck in an 'off' state. Polychrome does nothing, and I cannot even reset/change it in the BIOs.
I have tried using the wlCPFLASHabsbv2.exe commands through CMD on the nu51_3.04 file:
>cd C:\Program Files (x86)\ASRock Utility\ASRRGBLED\Bin >wlCPFLASHadsbv2.exe /File=nu51_3.04)
This then opens another CMD window and displays: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wICPFLASHADSBv2 v1.0.8 - ASRock Incorporation, all rights reserved ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Project Name = B650E Steel Legend WiFi BIOS Version = 1.28.AS01
After waiting, it does not continue past this screen, even after hours. The window acts like it is running the program, including CPU usage and becoming un-editable, but nothing ever happens.
Is there any other possible solution I am missing to return function to the PCH RGB or is it faulty hardware? I have been using this board for half a month and have just now suddenly encountered this issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I would also like to add the WriteFW.bat file quickly opens CMD and near instantly closes, seemingly crashing.

I currently have that version of bios, should I flash back to a version that is not in beta?

I've the same issue here, with my X670E Pro RS.
I tried to go back to previous BIOS but the issue remains. What is interesting is that since I've this issue, Asrock Polychrome ask for an update : "Updating RGB LED Firmware. DO NOT turn off your system". But it lasts for hours and nothing happens.
I also tried to reset BIOS settings in vain.
The PCH'RGB is still off, no matter what mode I chose in the bios (static, rainbow...).
Please help Asrock !

I will update if I can work anything out. My board is also only a few weeks old, frustrating how sudden this happened. It is also strange that attempting to flash the RGB chip doesn't even result in an error code, it never even seems to be able to start.

It came back after waiting another long time with "updating RGB LED Firmware". It was so long that I finally rebooted my computer, with success.

Did you have to click on anything to start that process or was it automatic when opening Polychrome?

I just double-clicked on RGBPolychrome.
And... I noticed that SignalRGB made a mess. I totally suggest you to avoid this software.
At last, the clean uninstall DDR software for my GSkill TridentZ helped a lot : aac-driver-full-remove-v1.1.bat

I cleaned out the drivers installed by G-Skill using that .bat file from the G-Skill forum post, but still nothing. After resetting Windows in a last ditch attempt, I have come to realize my motherboard [B650E Steel Legend Wifi] is not listed in the wICPFLASHADSBv2.exe file's .ini file. Could this be what is preventing the Flash from running?

I have the same problem. Were you able to solve it?

Unfortunately not, I have been trying somewhat regularly since then to solve this issue. It definitely seems like a software issue, but I am still not able to flash the RGB chip.

It worked for me. - In BIOS put the option "LED turn on S5" disable. Save and exist. - CPU unplug from the wall. It's important, it seems. - In BIOS "Restore onboard LED default" enable and then disable. - Try polychrome.
