My motherboard is ASRock X99Extreme4. Your CPU support for this motherboard lists Intel i7 5820K as a supported CPU, but it also lists the socket as LGA 2011-3. My Intel i7 5820K says the correct socket is
LGA 2011-v3. Are the terms LGA 2011-3 and LGA 2011-v3 just different ways of designating the same socket? If they are the same, may I suggest that the term LGA 2011-v3 would be preferable if it is used consistently. If they are different, what is the difference? Thank you.
