Problem: Computer will not turn on after inserting micro-usb
Hardware: ASRock Steel Legend B550, AMD Radeon Sapphire Pulse RX 5700.
Description: I inserted a microusb to download photos and upon inserting it into one of the back USB ports, the PC went black and shut off. It will not turn back on. I've tried the following remedies with no luck: disconnect the power cable wait 30 seconds and try again, power cycle using the top button three times, unplugged my power supply cables and reconnected them, disconnected and reconnected the cable that runs from the power supply to the motherboard, disconnected and plugged back in my GPU.
There are only a series of flashing lights to indicate it is plugged in and receiving some sort of power. Immediately upon turn on, three red dots flash simultaneously along with one green-yellow. Then two individual green-yellows,followed by three individual red flashes. Next, one green-yellow, three red individual, and then one green. Seems like a pattern of three red one green-yellow?
Any ideas?

Correction, the motherboard is B450 not B550.

How did you insert the micro USB? Did you use an adaptor? The B450 Steel Legend doesn't have a micro USB port so if you tried to connect it to the USB type C port at the back it may well have shorted something out.

I used an adapter for the microUSB, it's a SanDisk. I inserted it as any other USB, didn't have to force it, it went right in.
I'm also worried that I shorted something, but I have no idea how that all works. Do I just take it in to have someone look at it?

the UEFI bios sometimes assume to boot up from memory stick or memory card, that's why does not boot, hence don't boot up with it connect in, after login to windows then insert the memory stick or card to read the files.
