Hi everyone. A few weeks ago I decided to try to upgrade the processor of my PC to a Ryzen 5 4600G. So I updated BIOS to 7.00 (Beta) and then to 7.40.
Installed the new processor and everything is working perfectly but have a small issue.
Windows 11 Power Options are set to put the PC to sleep (S3) after 15 minutes of inactivity (Power LED will blink when sleeping). Sometimes (Maybe 1 in 5) the PC won't wake from sleep. The Power LED will stop blinking and will turn on like if the PC is working but there are no video signal and no other signal of activity.

In this 'undefined' state the only option to reset the PC is to press the power button for more than 4 seconds. My PC case does not have a reset button.

After pressing the power button for more than 4 seconds the power LED will start blinking again like when sleeping. At this point a final press of the power button will start the PC again. I lost my Windows session so it would be nice to try to find a fix for this.

I know Ryzen 5 4600G is not in the CPU supported list for the motherboard but maybe someone can provide any suggestion to try. There are no issues when waking up from hibernate (S4).

I don't know what the issue is, but if I were you, I'd do a couple of things.

1) I would flash the BIOS again, with the new CPU installed. Yes, I'm saying I'd re-flash using the SAME BIOS version. I might be off here, but something about older CPUs not being able to access the whole BIOS space. 4600G (Renoir) should be able to address the entire BIOS space.

2) Go through BIOS settings and make notes of changed values, load the default, reboot, and then set the settings you want again. In fact, I might actually do a CMOS reset, and then set stuff to my liking. You likely jumped over a massive BIOS versions, so there could be many weird settings that are incorrect between the revisions.

Thank you for your time and suggestions. I re-flashed the BIOS using the same version (7.40) and also loaded the BIOS default values. I will let you know if the issue appears again.
