Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my new build (parts list below). The 2 parts apparently to the problem are the MB, a z790 Riptide, and the GPU, a Gigabyte Windforce 4070. Long story short: Windows crashes within 2 minutes of booting, usually a very short full freeze followed by a reboot. Window's event viewer always shows a Nvlddmkm Code 0 after the reboot. The system is always really cool, so overheating is not the issue. In any case, it wouldn't even have time to become hot before a crash.
The build works fine when I switch the Windforce for an old GTX Titan Black. But the Windforce GPU doesn't appear to be the actual problem since my neighbour has the exact same MB and when we put my GPU in his PC, there aren't any crashes. We also tried his GPU, a 4070 Ti, in my PC and the crashes happen.
I tried 3 different versions of the MB bios, including the same that is on my neighbour's MB (3.08) but no luck. Same with 6.05, that was the factory bios, and 8.01. I tried all available nvidia drivers, using DDU to clean uninstall, but again... no luck. Tried both sticks of RAM individually, tried the RAM in my neighbour's pc, tried win 10 and 11, tried installing windows on a different ssd, forcing the PCIe x16 to gen 4... the behaviour stays the same.
We've been trying to solve this for almost a month now, which is why I finally posted here. Thanks in advance.

Have you run the build with a different PSU?
Can you replicate the problem on the build without a the drives installed (this would rule out driver and software issues)?

Update: The MB will be RMAd. The day I posted this the tech support page was down but I have been able to talk to them yesterday and told me they would replace it.
