Hi, my LAN was working ok, but since latest bios 1.30AS02 it won't connect to Internet, says unable to obtain DNS. It's enabled in bios.

Board is x670e PG Lightning. It was fine before bios update. I have reset adapter in Windows, checked cables etc. O my thing that changed is the new bios.

Thanks!

Similar issues same bios
X670E Steel Legend

Updated bios - Lan 1GB no longer working, Enabled in bios it still shows as a option in bios, can't see it in Device Manager Either.

Tried to rollback driver and the issue persists.

I literally downloaded the bios from that network port, so I know it was working just prior to the bios update.

I reset Cmos with jumper.

2.5gb port working but I would like to have back the 1gb port of course.

Any solutions possible?

Did your bios update fry the network port?

I should also be clear I tried previous bios's and the problem remains the same now.

The 1gb Nic is just gone.

I think that I have a simmilar problem.
New motherboard, Asrock B650E PG Riptide WiFi originally with 1.20 bios (I don't know if LAN was working, I upgraded bios to newest 1.30.AS02 before windows installed).
So, now with 1.30.AS02 bios LAN port is not working (missing in device manager, enabled in BIOS)
In device manager I have only wifi. Fresh windows 10 and 11, same....
I reverse BIOS back to 1.28 and nothing, still no LAN.
Later I'll try 1.21, but I have no hope.

I too have the exact same problem with this board after I tried the latest Beta Bios.

x670e PG Lightning

Flashed 1.30AS02 . Won't connect to Internet anymore, Unable to obtain DNS. It's enabled in bios.

I tried flashing older bios's for this board but the Lan remains broken.

Very unimpressed. Had to buy a 2.5Gb Nic.

Unless this gets fixed it curtains for me buying anymore hardware from ASRock.

Open a support ticket with ASRock and include a link to this thread.
https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp

If there is any issue with the beta they will be able to help and will likely also
pull it down and replace it with a fixed version.

Good luck

Dear all,
Thank you for the posting.

For this case, please kindly download the following LAN driver corresponding to the motherboard.
Repair the driver and see if the network card can be connected.

I have a simmilar problem with B650E PG Riptide WiFi. The LAN port has not been working for a long time (missing in device manager, enabled in BIOS). The BIOS has been updated several times, but the LAN port still doesn't work.
