Hi,

As the title said, Asrock implementation of CSM is quit broken. I have a balance of issues between landing everytime on the BIOS (the bios image is stretch and no interaction possible) and other times being totally stuck out of the bios the keyboard not registering (CMOS clear allows me back in)

Hardware:
5950X
X570 Taichi
Micron 128g ECC RAM
Crucial NVME SSD w/ Proxmox ZFS
Latest BIOS, latest firmware on everything, no overclock
I have enabled IOMMU, Above 4G, Re-Size BAR, DMAr Support
I have disabled CSM, Fast Boot, DMA Protection, PCIe ARI Support
No overclock on anything

I'm looking for staff that will handle this issue by providing a stable bios firmware. Thanks in advance

What GPU do you have?

RTX 4090 Founders Edition & MSI GT 710 1GD3H LP (for display out on Proxmox when the main gpu is busy only when needed), the bios display is with HDMI on the first x16 slot (4090)

Check if your OS has UEFI and make sure it works on UEFI.
Maybe the GT710 is only legacy (UEFI-GOP needed btw.).
Try without it.

If after following jonas1990's good advice the problems persist, try updating your GPU firmware but you will need MS Windows

If after testing without the GT710 everything works correctly, you do not need to update the firmware of your 4090.

For full transparency this setup worked until 48h hours ago when I wanted to create a clean Proxmox setup, the setup with the exact hardware was running 24/7 for a month I since CSM was disabled I was not able to access the bios without a cmos clear but it did totally work and boot.

I will still try the unplug one of the gpu respectively and report the results, meanwhile a look at the bios firmware to fix this recurrent issue would be really appreciated if anyone from the staff is reading
