Hey, my x670e is back from service - from yours experiences - can I install processor on board with am5 and uninstall how many times i want? Whether is any limit - for example five and motherboard will slowly surrender himself? Or how many time should I wait between first procesor install and second processor install, is any suggest time?
Thanks for all answer and best regards Kordian

Interesting question. Socket durability...
I have never had an LGA style socket die on me due to repeated installation/uninstallation of CPUs before. AM5 is an LGA type socket, Land Grid Array. So long as you don't physically damage the pins due to improper handling it should last a very long time. If the CPU has been mounted under significant pressure for a prolonged period of time you can let the board sit for 5 - 10 mins after removing it to allow the pins to return to their original positions but even this isn't usually necessary.
I have been reviewing hardware for a long time, often using the same motherboard to test dozens of CPUs in a short space of time for benchmarking etc and never had an issue with sockets unless I was careless and bent pins, dropping things in the socket etc.
I hope this answers your question.
